Pet Care Service in Wigan Hi, I'm so pleased to be the owner of your local dog boarding & Pet Care service, Barking Mad Wigan.

I live in Wigan with my husband, Lee, our 2 teenage daughters, Chloe and Megan, 2 rescue dogs, Mollie & Milo and rescue bun, Buddy.

Having spent over 20 years in retail, I wanted a change and my last job made me realise how much I loved working with dogs and their parents - Barking Mad came along, it was the perfect opportunity and here I am into my 3rd year of arranging holidays for amazing dogs within Wigan and surrounding areas.

I'm devoted to ensuring all dogs in our care have the best holiday. It shows when we are greeted with waggy tails and slobbery kisses when we come to collect. Our experienced dog sitting families are super special people. They do an amazing job, making sure they get lots of love, attention. A true home-from-home dog boarding experience.

If you're looking for an alternative to kennels, dog home boarding in Wigan is the answer. Where your four-legged friend is cared for by a loving, experienced host family. Mollie & Milo are our babies, so I understand how hard and stressful it can be finding the right care for them whilst we go on holiday.

To meet customer demand, we are really pleased to have added new services to our portfolio.

Home/Puppy Visits - from £10 - We can visit your dog within your home for 30 minutes or an hour to check all is OK, replenish water and food, let them out for fresh air or a walk and always make sure there is time for cuddles!

Pet Sitting in Wigan - from £35 - We can stay with your dog for 4 hours or more during the day, in their own home. This service will especially suit puppies, seniors, dogs with separation anxiety, recently had surgery or dogs who have never been left before.

Pet Taxi - from £6.50 - We're available to chauffeur your dog anywhere you can't; to the groomers, vets, daycare, relatives. Our car is fully kitted out, air-conditioned and very comfortable - sorry, no hoomans!

Become a Host Family
I understand what it is like to be a host for Barking Mad. The furry guest becomes part of your family and it can be hard to say 'Goodbye' when it is time to for them to return home! As a Barking Mad host, you will offer bespoke one-to-one home boarding holiday care for our dogs. You will also have opportunities to meet up with other host families regularly for Coffee Mornings, Dog Walks, Afternoon Tea and more.

So, if you would like to say goodbye to 'doglessness'. Enjoy having a temporary furry guest, enjoying all the benefits of dog ownership without the financial or full-time commitment. Then why not become a part of our valued host community. Myself and Lee are available to give you support 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.
